Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the website and cleaning services of Shining House Cleaning Services of Brooklyn, NY ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services. These terms apply to all visitors, clients, and users of our site and services.
Description of Services
We provide professional house cleaning services in Brooklyn, NY and surrounding neighborhoods, including standard cleaning, deep cleaning, move in/move out cleaning, recurring cleaning, post-construction/renovation cleaning, and Airbnb/rental turnover cleaning. Specific services, scheduling, and pricing are agreed upon at the time of booking. We reserve the right to refuse or decline service for any lawful reason, including situations that may pose a health or safety risk to our team.
Quotes and Pricing
Estimates provided through our instant quote estimator or by our team are based on the information you provide about your home and requested services. We use flat-rate pricing. Final pricing is confirmed before service begins. Additional services requested during a visit may incur additional charges, which we will communicate and confirm with you in advance. We reserve the right to adjust pricing if the actual condition or size of your home differs materially from the information provided at booking.
Scheduling and Access
You are responsible for providing accurate access information for your home, including keys, building access codes, doorman instructions, and service-elevator scheduling where required. If our team is unable to access your home at the scheduled time due to missing or incorrect access information, a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service cost may apply. We will always attempt to contact you before applying any such fee.
Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with a cleaning, contact us within 24 hours of the completed service and we will return to re-clean the affected area at no additional charge. This guarantee does not cover issues caused by pre-existing conditions, normal wear and tear, or areas that were not included in the agreed scope of service.
Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of each service unless other arrangements are made in advance. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods listed at booking. Recurring clients may be billed automatically according to their plan. Disputed charges must be reported within 7 days of the service date.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Please review our Cancellation & Reschedule Policy for full details. In brief, we ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a cleaning without charge. Cancellations with less notice may be subject to a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service cost.
Liability
We carry insurance for damage caused by our cleaners during a visit. Our liability for such damage is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of the damaged item, up to the limits of our insurance coverage. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. We are not responsible for damage to items that are fragile, inherently defective, or not suitable for standard cleaning methods unless we have been specifically instructed about them in advance.
Client Responsibilities
You agree to provide a reasonably safe working environment, to disclose any hazards (such as loose flooring, exposed electrical, or pest issues), and to secure pets and valuables before our team arrives. You also agree to provide accurate information about your home and service needs so we can deliver the service you expect.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, and images — is the property of Shining House Cleaning Services of Brooklyn, NY and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written consent.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts located in New York County, New York.
